Jersey's Jewish community is compiling a book of letters sent to them following the recent acts of vandalism on the island's synagogue. It comes after racist comments and swastikas were painted on the side of the building in red paint.
The leader of Jersey's Jewish Community, Steven Regal, said the response from the public had been so dramatic they wanted to keep a record of the occasion.
And it has been announced there will also be a special service for islanders who rallied round after the attack.
'Stand together'
Mr Regal said he hoped the service would be held in the next four to six weeks.
"We would like to join with our Christian brothers and sisters in a service of thanksgiving to thank God that the overwhelming population of this island are good.
"We all stand together to support goodness and we defy these people to try their worst against us and against our Christian brothers and sisters," he said.
Good response
Meanwhile, Jersey Police are making a fresh appeal for information about the attack.
Officers say they are pleased with the public's response to their investigation.
A teenager of slim build with blond collar-length hair was seen running from near the synagogue car park onto Routes Des Genets and towards Red Houses at about 0315 BST on Sunday.
The youth appeared to be wearing a light-coloured peaked cap, a long-sleeve light coloured top, light trousers and loose-fitting soft-soled shoes.
The police are asking the person involved, or anyone else with other information, to contact them.
