Justice Minister David Hanson has entered the row over the prank telephone calls made to the actor Andrew Sachs by Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand during Brand's Radio 2 show.
Speaking during Common's question-time, the minister called on the pair to apologise and said: "I don't think it was in keeping with broadcasting".
The BBC has apologised to actor for the "unacceptable and offensive" content of the calls broadcast on the 18th October.
