Sienna Miller wins photo damages

Actress Sienna Miller has accepted �15,000 damages in an out-of-court settlement against the Daily Star over a paparazzi photo.

The 26-year-old star took action over the picture taken in Los Angeles, which she claimed violated her privacy.

The paper has also printed an apology to the Layer Cake star.

The Daily Star said it accepted she was "extremely harassed and distressed by persistent pursuit and intimidating tactics" adopted by the paparazzi.

"We apologise to Sienna for publishing this photograph."

Ms Miller's private life has been the subject of numerous newspaper stories since her failed romance with Jude Law, who she starred with in Alfie.

In January, she won a High Court privacy case against a photographer who took nude pictures of her without her consent.

The photos were taken while Ms Miller was filming Hippie Hippie Shake, based on the memoirs of Richard Neville.
