Mark Speight met his fiancee while they were filming a TV show

Speight was arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying Class A drugs after his fiancee Natasha Collins was found dead at their flat in January.

Six days later police said the SMart show presenter was no longer a murder suspect, but bailed him to return on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs.

But following advice from the Crown Prosecution Service, police will take no further action against Speight.

An inquest into Ms Collins' death is due to be held at Westminster Coroner's Court on 2 April.

'Tragic loss'

An initial inquest hearing in January heard the death of 31-year-old Ms Collins was being treated as "non-suspicious at this stage".

The Metropolitan Police have also said a post-mortem on her body was "inconclusive".

Last month, Speight announced he was to leave his television show SMart, saying his fiancee's "tragic loss" had affected him, and Ms Collins' family, "very deeply".

Speight and Ms Collins met while filming another BBC children's show, See It Saw It.
