LaBeouf trespass charges dropped
Shia LaBeouf
The actor will co-star with Harrison Ford in the new Indiana Jones film
Transformers star Shia LaBeouf is no longer facing criminal charges for apparently refusing to leave a shop in Chicago last month.

The 21-year-old made a brief court appearance before prosecutors for Walgreens drug store announced they did not want to take further action.

"He's grateful that it's over," the star's lawyer Terry Gillespie said.

Police were called when a security guard asked Mr LaBeouf to leave because he allegedly appeared to be drunk.

"He's on his way back to work," Gillespie added.

At the time police spokeswoman Laura Kubiak said he had been "very courteous and polite".

The star was not breathalysed as he had not been driving.

The actor is set to co-star with Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which is due to be released next year.
