For the first time contestants performed two dances in the show |
Former rugby international Kenny Logan has become the ninth contestant to be voted off BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing show. After all the couples danced two different numbers, he found himself bottom of the judge's leaderboard with a total score of 53 points out of 80.
Kenny and partner, Ola Jordan, failed to impress judges with the foxtrot in a dance-off against Letitia Dean.
Judge Arlene Phillips said: "I've never had such a difficult choice."
Head judge Len Goodman said: "If I could have judged with my heart, Kenny, you would be back, but on that performance alone, (it's) Letitia and Darren."
Logan's wife, Gabby, also took part in the show, but she was voted off earlier on in the series.
Singer Alesha Dixon, actor Matt Di Angelo, TV presenter Gethin Jones and Dean remain in the competition and will battle it out during next weeks show on Saturday.
Actress and model Kelly Brook chose to leave the show after her father died.
The grand final of the show, which takes place on 22 December, will now contain two couples instead of the traditional three.
