Actor LaBeouf on trespass charge
Shia LaBeouf
Shia LaBeouf is due to appear in court later this month
Transformers star Shia LaBeouf has been charged with trespassing after he refused to leave a shop in Chicago.

Police were called after a security guard told Mr LaBeouf to leave a branch of the Walgreens drug store because he seemed to be drunk.

Police spokeswoman Laura Kubiak said the 21-year-old actor was "very courteous and polite".

He is due to face a misdemeanour criminal trespass charge in Cook County court on 28 November.

The Transformers star was not breathalysed as he had not been driving.

The actor is set to co-star with Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which is due to be released next year.
