Ratatouille remains top UK film

Disney animation Ratatouille - about a rat working in a Parisian restaurant - has topped the UK and Ireland box office chart for the third week.

It took �3.6m, leaving slasher film Saw IV to make its chart debut in second place with �2.5m.

Down one place at three was fantasy epic Stardust, featuring Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer, with �2.3m.

Eastern Promises, David Cronenberg's violent tale of Russian mobsters in London, entered the chart at four.

Also new at 10 was Sicko, Michael Moore's film about the US healthcare system.

Rendition, a drama about the illegal kidnapping and detention of terror suspects by the CIA starring Jake Gyllenhaal fell two places to five.

Simon Pegg comedy Run, Fat Boy, Run, spent its eighth week in the UK chart, having taken more than �10m to date.
