Animated movie Ratatouille remains on top of the UK and Ireland box office chart, leaving fantasy epic Stardust to make its debut in second place. Ratatouille, which follows a rat working in a Parisian restaurant, took �3,056,000 at the weekend.
Stardust, which features Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert De Niro and Ricky Gervais, took �2.2m.
Other new entries in the top 10 were thriller Rendition at three and fantasy adventure The Dark is Rising at seven.
Despite mixed reviews, revived teen detective Nancy Drew entered the chart at number 10.

Historic adventure The Last Legion, in which Colin Firth embarks on a perilous voyage as the Roman Empire crumbles, made its debut at number 11.
Ben Stiller's romantic comedy The Heartbreak Kid fell to number four while Extinction, the final part of the Resident Evil trilogy, was at five.
It was followed by Simon Pegg comedy Run, Fat Boy, Run, spending its seventh week in the UK chart, having taken more than �10m to date.
