Nicky has become known for her moaning in the house |
Big Brother's Nicky Maxwell has become the fifth housemate to be evicted from the Channel 4 reality TV show. The 27-year-old from Watford had been up against Gerry Stergiopoulos after the pair were nominated.
In this week's task, Nicky won the contestants a take-away by making them laugh during a comic stand-up routine.
In her post-eviction interview, she admitted she had been "miserable" at times but had learnt from her time in the Big Brother house.
Last week, argumentative Charley Uchea was evicted as part of Big Brother's "fake week" - but was sent back in.
Nicky had been 1/200 to be evicted before bookmakers Ladbroke stopped taking bets.
Four housemates nominated Gerry for eviction |
Spokesman Nick Weinberg said they were the "shortest odds" the company had ever offered for any Big Brother eviction. Gerry expressed relief at escaping eviction, shouting: "It means I have one more week!"
Nicky said Gerry was "like a child".
The housemates seemed downbeat at Nicky's departure.
"It's really sad. I'm proper gutted," said Tracey Barnard.
Both Nicky and Gerry had received four nominations each.
When the announcement that she had been nominated was made, Nicky said: "I'm not surprised. It's cool. I don't think I deserve it but never mind."
Twins Amanda and Sam Marchant have still not received a single nomination.
So far, five contestants have been evicted from the house, while two others have left of their own accord and one, Emily Parr, was removed.
