Kylie Minogue has performed two of her hits for guests at a charity event in France, raising 200,000 for each song.

The pop star, 38, sang The Locomotion and Can't Get You Out of My Head.

Mischa Barton, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn attended the dinner and auction, which was hosted by actress Sharon Stone, to raise money to fight Aids.

The annual event, which coincides with Cannes Film Festival, is organised by the American Federation for Aids Research (Amfar).

Model Dita Von Teese also performed at the event in the town of Mougins on the Cote d'Azur, dancing one of her trademark Burlesque routines.

The auction included luxury items such as designer luggage, crystal jewelled shoes and a one-on-one tennis lesson from Monica Selles.

Julian Lennon, son of the late Beatle John was also at the event.

"I've never been involved in anything like this before," he said. "It's an overwhelming experience."
