Stubbs left his sick bed to sing on Wednesday's show
Sports presenter Ray Stubbs has been voted out of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy - after fellow contestants took pity on him for having flu.

Stubbs had to sing for survival alongside TV actors Tricia Penrose and Shaun Williamson.

Semi-finalists Penrose, Williamson, DJ Colin Murray and socialite Tara Palmer Tomkinson all voted Stubbs out so he could go home and recover.

The Football Focus presenter said: "I'm so proud to have been a part of it."

Judge Richard Park said: "I feel very sorry for Ray, it's very unfortunate what's happened."

All proceeds from the show go towards Comic Relief projects in Africa and the UK.
