Tie sees Bell out of Fame Academy

CBBC presenter Angellica Bell has been evicted from Fame Academy after the first tie-break of the series.

Bell went head-to-head with BBC Sports presenter Ray Stubbs and Radio 1 DJ Colin Murray to stay in the show.

Their fellow students could not agree on who to keep, which meant Bell - who had received the fewest votes from the public - was evicted.

Former EastEnders star Shaun Williamson is favourite to win the show. The final takes place on Friday's Red Nose Day.

Five contestants remain in the talent competition, including socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Heartbeat actress Tricia Penrose.

All proceeds from the show go towards Comic Relief projects in Africa and the UK.
