Dominic Jackson, 42, from Oxfordshire, beat 35 rivals after spending four hours a day doing brain exercises.

"Now I've got the �1m, I'd love to be in the Den, to help people with their businesses," he said.

Mr Jackson also plans to renew his pilot's licence and take part in the Le Mans 24-hour sports car race in France.

Dragons' Den offers people a chance to pitch their business ideas to a panel of five investors.

"I've been running my own business for 20 years, so I know where the Dragons are coming from," said the management consultant from Didcot.

He said he also plans to fix his mother's leaky roof and buy her a season ticket for the Globe theatre in London.

PokerFace was dreamt up by its presenters, Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, best known as Ant and Dec.

In it, contestants answer general knowledge questions, winning money for every question they get right, and have to bluff their rivals about how well they are doing.

Its first millionaire winner was Sarah Lang, 31, from Newport in south Wales.
