Sarah Lang said winning the programme was "unreal" |
A Star Trek fan who won 1m on a TV game show says she hopes to buy a plot of land on the Moon. Sarah Lang, 31, of Newport, south Wales, also plans to take her two young sons to Disneyland and buy her husband a motorcycle "if he grovels a bit".
She used general knowledge and bluffing skills to scoop the prize on ITV 1's Pokerface, presented by Ant and Dec.
A self-confessed "geek," she said after Sunday's programme: "I just couldn't speak. It is unreal."
Contestants had to be able to bluff about their general knowledge ability to win.
Ms Lang defeated Staffordshire businessman Julian Sperring-Toy, 33, known as "iceman" on the show, to win the top prize.
Ms Lang said she wanted to take her family to Disneyland for her youngest son's third birthday this month. Her other son is aged five.
She joked that her husband Nick, 32, a secondary school teacher, would also get a Ducati motorbike if he grovelled to her.

She added: "I am really into sci-fi and horror so I really want to go to a big Trekkie convention in the US and dress up.
"I have always been fascinated with stars and space so I'm going to get a strong telescope in my garden.
"I have heard that you can buy plots of land on the Moon. It might be worth something in a few years."
The ITV show ran over seven nights and guaranteed that one person would win 1m.
Ms Lang said she could hardly believe it when she won and had been sick with tension before the show.
"It's like a really lucid dream. It was really quite strange."
She is a fan of internet trivia websites, but had bluffed on the programme about being a quiz world champion.
"I am a bit of a geek and if I find something interesting I'll go and have a look at it and I find it really easy to pick up that piece of information," she added.
