In November Shakira won four Latin Grammy awards
Shakira has been lined up to perform with Wyclef Jean at the 49th Grammy Award ceremony.

Chris Brown, Lionel Richie and Smokey Robinson will also sing. The trio are expected to sing a special tribute to male R&B artists.

Mary J Blige, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Dixie Chicks have all been nominated for awards, while the Police are to reunite for a performance.

The ceremony will held in Los Angeles on Sunday.

British acts are led by James Blunt, who secured five nominations. Corinne Bailey Rae and KT Tunstall also feature on the shortlist.

Other multiple nominees include blues singer John Mayer, Dangermouse, veteran maestro Prince, producer Rick Rubin and will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.
