 Cox and Aniston will play rival tabloid editors in the drama |
Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are to team up again for the first time since the long-running US sitcom ended in 2004. Aniston will make a guest appearance in an episode of Dirt, which explores the relationship between the entertainment industry and US tabloid magazines.
Cox plays ruthless editor Lucy Spiller, and Aniston will appear as a rival.
The series, which airs on FX Networks, is executive produced by Cox and her husband, David Arquette.
Dirt is Cox's most high-profile project since Friends ended, while Aniston has starred in Hollywood films Derailed and The Break-Up.
The episode, which will end the drama's opening series, will be aired in the US on 27 March.
