The baptism took place in Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday

Aniston, who starred with Cox in the hit US sitcom for 10 years, was among 110 guests at the ceremony in Alabama.

It was a "wonderful gathering", said the Reverend Doug Carpenter, who led the ceremony on Saturday.

Cox, 40, married her Scream co-star David Arquette in 1999. Aniston was the only other celebrity at the baptism.

"There were no cameras during the ceremony, but afterward, everyone wanted their pictures taken with the stars," Mr Carpenter said.
