Willis is due to star in the fourth Die Hard next year |
Actor Bruce Willis, best known for his roles in the Die Hard film series and thriller The Sixth Sense, has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. "I used to come down here and look at these stars and I could never quite figure out what you were supposed to do to get one," said the 51-year-old star.
"Time has passed and now here I am doing this," said Willis, adding "And I'm still excited to be an actor."
Willis was joined by his mother, children and ex-wife Demi Moore.
Moore was accompanied by her new husband, actor Ashton Kutcher.
Fellow actors Ben Affleck, Kevin Costner, Syvester Stallone and Billy Bob Thornton also attended the ceremony in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.
Willis, who came to public attention with his role in the 1980s TV series Moonlighting, is currently filming the fourth Die Hard film, Live Free or Die Hard, due out in the US next June.
His latest film, Fast Food Nation, is released this month.
