Die Hard actor Bruce Willis is suing a childhood friend, claiming he tried to extort $100,000 (�52,500) from him. Willis claims Bruce DiMattia threatened to release private photos and disclose personal information unless he was given the money and bought a car.
The actor is seeking $1m (�525,000) damages, according to papers filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Mr DiMattia worked for Willis from 2002-2006, maintaining the actor's personal items and memorabilia.
