Kanye West has won six Grammy Awards in two years |
Rapper Kanye West is among the acts on the line-up of the Lollapalooza music festival which is being held at Chicago's Grant Park in the US. Rock band the Red Hot Chili Peppers are also on the bill for the event, which takes place on 4-6 August.
The Raconteurs, which features Jack White from the White Stripes, are also set to perform at the festival.
More than 30,000 people attended each day of last year's event, which was headlined by Jane's Addiction.
'Kick ass'
The band's Perry Farell co-founded the festival in 1991, when the line-up was taken on tour around the US.
Last year's event in Chicago was the first time that Lollapalooza was a fixed event in one venue.
The event had to be cancelled in 2004 due to poor ticket sales, when Morrissey was due to take part.
Other acts that have been confirmed for this year's line-up include The Flaming Lips, Queens of the Stone Age, Manu Chao and the Shins.
Kanye West has won six Grammy awards in two years for his two multi-platinum albums Late Registration and The College Dropout.
A total of 130 acts are to play the summer festival, a line-up described as "kick ass" by Farrell.
