ITV has commissioned a one-off celebrity version of its singing talent show The X Factor for the spring. Judges Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh are returning but the contestants have not been announced.
The show will follow the same format as The X Factor with under 25s, over 25s and group categories.
Paul Jackson, ITV's director of comedy and entertainment, said: "It will be a huge treat for viewers to see the celebrities under pressure."
"Simon Cowell, who, as we know, is honest and direct, certainly doesn't mince his words."
"We are in discussions with celebrities right now but are keeping some of the elements of the show under wraps."
The show, with Kate Thornton as host, will run on consecutive nights.
Shayne Ward won the most recent series in December and went on to top the singles charts for four weeks with That's My Goal.
