The Brits' lifetime achievement award winner Paul Weller returned to the album chart with a re-release of The Jam's greatest hits album Snap, which was a new entry at number 10.

In the singles chart, The Ordinary Boys, featuring Big Brother star Preston, held firm at number three.

Fellow contestant Pete Burns did not fare so well - a re-release of his 1980s hit You Spin Me Round with band Dead or Alive, slipped from number five to eight.

Former Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon's debut solo effort, Woman In Love/I Get the Sweetest Feeling, entered the chart at number five.
