Actor Kevin Spacey is to take part in Going Hollywood, an eight-part reality show following interns working behind the scenes in the showbiz capital. Spacey, veteran producer Robert Evans and rapper Method Man will take on the role of mentors in the series, which will begin in the US this autumn.
Spacey is currently performing in the West End in The Philadelphia Story.
However, he will be leaving the Old Vic production in June for six weeks to play Lex Luthor in Superman Returns.
"The Hollywood featured in Going Hollywood is a place few have seen," said David Abraham, executive vice president and general manager of the Learning Channel.
"Beyond the glamorous premieres and jet-set travel is a world where grit, ambition and, above all, hard work, are the stuff that dreams are made of."
Each hour-long episode will show interns working at Spacey's Trigger Street Productions, the Robert Evans Company and Method Man Enterprises.
