US girl band the Pussycat Dolls have stormed to number one in the UK singles charts with their debut single Don't Cha, featuring Busta Rhymes. The six-strong female dance troupe knocked Dare from Damon Albarn's cartoon act Gorillaz off the top spot after just one week.
Coldplay's Fix You, debuted at number four, just behind Doctor Pressure from Mylo vs Miami Sound Machine.
In the albums chart, James Blunt returned to the top spot.
Blunt's debut album Back to Bedlam regained the number one position after boy band McFly beat hip-hop star Kanye West to the top last week.

A Bigger Bang, the new album from veteran rockers the Rolling Stones, entered the chart at number two, while X&Y from Coldplay moved one place to number three.
There were no other new entries in the top 10 singles, in a chart which saw Oasis' The Importance of Being Idle tumble from number two to number seven.
Dukes of Hazzard star Jessica Simpson fell from six to 10 with her cover version of These Boots Were Made For Walking, while Daniel Powter's Bad Day fell from number three to number five.
