X-Files star weds UK film-maker
Gillian Anderson
Anderson won a British Independent Film Award for The House of Mirth
X-Files star Gillian Anderson has married her long-term partner, English documentary maker Julian Ozanne.

The pair married in a low-key ceremony on 29 December, her agent confirmed. She lives with Ozanne, 42, a former Financial Times journalist, in London.

The US actress, 36, played agent Dana Scully in sci-fi series The X-Files for nine years.

She won a British Independent Film Award for her role in 2000's The House of Mirth.

The Chicago-born actress has a 10-year-old daughter, Piper, from her previous marriage to production designer Clyde Klotz, which ended in 1996.

She starred in What the Night is For in London's West End in 2003.
