Robert De Niro lends his voice to Shark Tale
Dreamworks' animated comedy Shark Tale is enjoying its third consecutive week at the top of the UK and Ireland box office, with takings of �2.4m.

Alfie, the remake starring Jude Law, moved up one place to number two, ahead of Alien Vs Predator at number three.

The highest new entry was Finding Neverland, starring Johnny Depp as Peter Pan author JM Barrie, which entered the charts at number four.

Shark Tale has taken nearly �20m in the UK since it opened on 15 October.

The underwater drama, starring the voices of Will Smith and Robert De Niro, has already taken more than �135m at the US box office despite criticism from Italian-American groups angered by its negative Mafia-style stereotyping.

Also new into the top 10 was horror prequel Exorcist: The Beginning at number six.

Another horror movie, Saw, entered its fifth week in the chart at number eight, while Bride and Prejudice is at number 10.
