Michelle Bass has been booted out of the Big Brother house |
Michelle Bass has become the latest Big Brother housemate to face the chop from the voting public. The Geordie was favourite to leave after her possessive behaviour towards Stuart Wilson turned viewers off.
Jason Cowen, 30, had been favourite for eviction at the start of the week but Michelle's relentless obsessing over Stuart sealed her fate.
Nadia Almada now remains 1/4 favourite with bookmakers to win the Channel 4 series.
Bass, a mortgage advisor from Newcastle, told presenter Davina McCall she was "gutted" to have been evicted.
"But I made it to week nine so I am thrilled to bits," she said.
However, she refused to confirm that she and Stuart had had sex in the Big Brother house.
"I don't want to say anything, no way" she said, responding to each of McCall's queries with the words: "No comment."
Michelle - who polled 67% of the 2,370,374 votes cast - has been labelled a "bunny boiler" in then British press, a reference to Glenn Close's psychotic character in the 1987 film Fatal Attraction.
Earlier this week the 23-year-old, who has become renowned for repeatedly using the word "chicken", threatened in jest to attack Stuart's friends if they introduced him to any women outside the Big Brother house.
The show has now entered its final week, with viewers voting for who of the five remaining housemates they want to win.
McCall announced on Friday that the housemate with the least number of votes would be evicted on Wednesday night.
The remaining contestants will then leave the house in reverse order during the live final shows next Friday.
