 Love is facing several legal cases |
Singer Courtney Love surrendered to police on her return to Los Angeles on Friday, two weeks after being the subject of an arrest warrant. She had missed an arraignment on 9 July over assault charges, and will now face the court date on 20 August.
The widow of Nirvana's Kurt Cobain turned herself in at a Los Angeles police station and was freed on bail of $150,000 (�81,800).
"She was very cooperative throughout the entire process," police said.

The assault charge stems from an incident on 25 April when Ms Love is alleged to have attacked a woman with a bottle and a torch at the Los Angeles home of former manager and ex-boyfriend Jim Barber.
She will face hearings next week on two other charges. Love will be sentenced on Tuesday for a drug offence in Los Angeles that she pleaded guilty to.
On Thursday she will attend a pre-trial hearing in Beverly Hills over a charge of illegal possession of prescription painkillers.
Ms Love became a fugitive when she did not turn up for her court date on 9 July. Her lawyer said the singer was in New York.
Ms Love was taken only hours later from her Manhattan apartment handcuffed to a stretcher and driven to New York's Bellevue Hospital Center for unspecified medical treatment.
