Kimberly Mathers was divorced from Eminem in 2001

Kimberly Mathers did not return to a treatment facility at Macomb County, Michigan, on Tuesday, officials said.

Ms Mathers, 28, was ordered to serve 30 days in jail in February for using cocaine while on probation.

She had been sentenced in January to two years' probation after pleading guilty to cocaine possession.

A spokesman for the state department of corrections said Ms Mathers was supposed to attend the treatment facility after a doctor's appointment and a Narcotics Anonymous meeting.

Authorities had contacted members of her family, but they did not know where she was, said spokesman Russ Marlan.

This is at least the second time Ms Mathers had dropped out of a court-ordered drug treatment programme.

The judge who jailed her in February ordered her to be transferred to an in-patient substance abuse treatment programme for 90 days.
