Bob Dylan will play in front of 30,000 music fans

The one-day festival in Finsbury Park, which celebrates Irish music, is likely to attract up to 30,000 music fans.

The event was cancelled last year because of problems finding a headline act, with the Irish music scene blamed.

US band Counting Crows will also appear at the Fleadh, which was first held in London in 1990. Sting, Neil Young and The Pogues have performed in the past.

The festival will be promoted by Mean Fiddler and the trade union-sponsored Workers' Beer Company.

Melvin Benn, managing director of Mean Fiddler, said: "We are particularly pleased to see the Fleadh back in London after its absence last year which was noted by many people."

Fleadh means festival in Gaelic and is pronounced "flah".
