Busted rocket Thunderbirds to top
Busted
The Thunderbirds movie is at number three in the UK film chart
Busted have sent the theme tune to the new Thunderbirds film straight to the top of the singles chart.

The single knocked Dry Your Eyes by The Streets off the top spot, while Lola's Theme by Shapeshifters slipped to number three.

Pop-rock act Busted could not, however, score a Thunderbirds double.

The movie - which was released in the UK on 23 July - is currently at number three in the film chart, below hit sequels Spider-Man 2 and Shrek 2.

Rapper Mike Skinner - aka The Streets - was also knocked off the top of the album chart.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers' new release, Live in Hyde Park, went straight in at number one, dislodging A Grand Don't Come For Free.

The Scissor Sisters self-titled album moved down one place from two to three. Meanwhile, Keane's Hopes and Fears dropped down to four and Snow Patrol held on to the number five spot with Final Straw.

Over in the singles chart, D12 were a new entry at four and former S Club star Rachel Stevens moved down to fifth place.
