Aniston and co-star Ben Stiller both attended the premiere |
Thousands of fans turned out to greet Friends star Jennifer Aniston at the London premiere of her new film Along Came Polly on Wednesday. The 35-year-old actress, who attended the screening with her co-star Ben Stiller, said she was "overwhelmed" by the crowds in Leicester Square
"I never expected anything like that," she said, after spending 20 minutes signing autographs for fans.
The film, which has been a big hit in the US, opens in the UK on 27 February.
It stars Aniston as a free-spirited waitress who strikes up a romance with a neurotic risk assessment analyst, played by Stiller.
Compete
Alex Baldwin, Hank Azaria and Will and Grace actress Debra Messing are among the co-stars.
Aniston, who recently filmed the last ever episode of Friends, attended the premiere without husband Brad Pitt - and said the pair had no plans to work together.
"It would be too much of a show," she said. "Maybe years down the line if the right thing comes along I would, but not now."
She also admitted she would be unlikely to star in another TV show in the near future.
"I loved Friends so much. I don't know how any other job could compete with that," the actress said.
"You can't say never, that would be silly but right now I feel like I've done that for 10 years and I want to explore something else."
