Tracey Emin is among 26 artists who will feature in an exhibition of contemporary spiritual art at St Paul's Cathedral in London next month. The former Turner Prize nominee has contributed a print called The Disposition, which shows Jesus Christ's body being taken down from the cross.
The exhibition is organised by the BibleLands charity, which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year.
It will run at St Paul's from 2-13 February, before touring nationwide.
Other artists featuring in the exhibition include Bill Viola's video installation The Messenger, which shows a naked man rising from a tank of water.
Iconography
Works by Norman Adams, Craigie Aitchison, Billy Childish, Chris Gollon, Maggi Hambling, and Peter Howson are also in the exhibition.
As part of the Presence series, on Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday - 24 and 25 February - a figure, dressed as Christ, will walk through the City of London in Iconography, a work by Ian Gough and Barry Richardson.
Other cathedrals which will show selected works from the exbhibition include Canterbury (22 February to 12 April), Glasgow (22 March to 12 April) and Durham (31 July to 5 September).
