Hunter changed her mind after only three days |
Model Rachel Hunter has dropped her case for divorce proceedings against husband Rod Stewart, just three days after filing it. The 33-year-old New Zealand-born model had cited "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of her split with rock star Stewart, 58.
But papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court showed Hunter had withdrawn the case on 19 June, only three days after filing it last month, it emerged on Wednesday.
No reason has been given for Hunter's decision to drop the divorce case.
The couple married in 1990, at the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church. They separated in 1999, after Hunter said she was too young to settle down.
Hunter was reportedly unhappy with the division of the couple's assets.
They have two children - 11-year-old daughter, Renee, and eight-year-old son, Liam - which they had agreed to share custody of during their separation.
Stewart is a multi-millionaire after more than three decades as one of the world's best-known pop singers. He is currently dating the model Penny Lancaster.
Since her separation, Hunter has been linked with pop star Robbie Williams and singer Wes Scantlin from the rock band Puddle of Mudd.
Stewart has two grown-up children from his first marriage to Alana Hamilton, and a daughter by model Kelly Emberg.
Stewart said he does not expect to marry again.
