Guirado evicted from jungle show
Catalina Guirado
Guirado said she was treated like "a little girl"

Model Catalina Guirado has become the latest person to be evicted from reality TV show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

Guirado is the fourth person to leave the jungle camp after losing a public vote on Thursday.

"I'm so happy to get out, it was so boring," she said.

She also denied being manipulative, telling presenters Ant and Dec: "I was myself in there. I'm sorry I'm insane."

She hit out at her fellow contestants, branding them "bossy" and saying they treated her like "a little girl".

Viewers had earlier seen her complaining about a chicken that needed to be plucked and gutted.

"I don't want it cut up in front of me, it's disgusting," she said.

The former TFI Friday star gained a reputation for manipulation, and had to record two pleas for votes because she changed her mind about whether she wanted to stay.

In her first appeal, she said: "I hate it in here. I'd like to go because it's got down to everyone talking about footie and I'm not interested.

"You may miss me flashing around in a bikini but that's about it - and you can see that in the magazines. So please vote me out."

But the second time, she said: "Please vote for me because I love it here."

'Ambitious lady'

On another occasion on Wednesday, she had been seen tearfully saying: "Nobody in England likes me.

"I hate it here. I'd like to go. Please can you let me out?"

Chef Antony Worrall Thompson accused her of being "a very ambitious lady" who was "in performance mode all the time."

On Thursday, viewers also saw Changing Rooms presenter Linda Barker delve her hands into buckets of insects to win meals in the latest Bush tucker trial.

Dancer Wayne Sleep injured himself while trampolining on his bed while Worrall Thompson complained of back pains that were made worse by a "punishing" search for the Celebrity Chest.

The Granada show, which is in its second year, is a big hit among viewers, attracting more than 9.5 million on Wednesday.

Guirado's eviction came after Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell said she hoped viewers would stop watching such programmes.

Speaking about the ITV1 show, which has drawn up to 10 million viewers, she said: "If they weren't mostly - save their blushes - has-been celebrities, there might be more interest."

In an interview with the Financial Times, she said: "I think that if we saw many more programming hours taken over by reality TV, I hope you'd begin to see a viewers' revolt."
