Westbrook threatens to exit show

Danniella fears an argument in the camp

Former EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook has threatened to leave I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here because another contestant is "bugging" her.

The 29-year-old former cocaine addict also said she was bored and that she was missing her husband and children.

Her frustration with life in the reality show camp was shared by cricketer Phil Tufnell, who celebrated his 37th birthday with an alcohol-free party.

The show's second series got off to a successful start on Monday, after being watched by an average of 10 million people - more than any episode of the first series, except the final.

And it was the turn of model Catalina Guirado to take-on the bushtucker trial - which saw her take a dip in a crocodile filled pool to win meals for all 10 contestants.

At the end of Tuesday's episode it was revealed that Wayne Sleep will take up the next trial, temptingly called "rat food suit".

'Different personalities'

Making her frustrations clear Westbrook told Tufnell she had already asked to speak to the camp psychiatrist.

She said: "There are lots of different personalities in here and it's hard - I've just bitten my tongue as I don't want to create bad feeling.

"There is one person really bugging me. I just want to say 'drop the act'. I can't cope with it."

Westbrook told the cricketer she would see how things are in two days time and would ask to leave then if she was still unhappy.

Hungry

To celebrate Tufnell's birthday, the other contestants gave him handmade gifts.

In exchange for three meals he was offered two bottles of wine - but to the delight of several hungry members of the camp he decided to stick with the food.

Viewers will get nightly instalments of the show, which sees the celebrities camping on the slopes of a remote volcano in southern Queensland, Australia, for two weeks.

They have to fend for themselves and live among jungle creatures, while viewers have the chance to vote them out one by one.

The daily updates of the first series were watched by between six and nine million, with almost 11 million tuning in to see Tony Blackburn crowned King of the Jungle in September.

The 10 celebrities include footballer John Fashanu, television presenter Linda Barker, chef Antony Worrall Thompson, ex-punk singer Toyah Willcox and model Catalina Guirado.

Also in the jungle are dancer Wayne Sleep, weather presenter Sian Lloyd, actor Chris Bisson, cricketer Tufnell and actress Danniella Westbrook.
