Remaining presenters Mark Durden-Smith and Edith Bowman are re-negotiating their contracts.
It will return on January 20 with a new look, which will see it broadcast from a studio above a London shopping centre, and new presenters, who are yet to be announced. Executive producer Sebastian Scott said: "The show will return with a fresh look and feel. I'm very grateful to the team who have worked fantastically hard since launch. "Currently all aspects of the show are under review and these changes will be honed when off air for when we come back." 'Panoramic view' Channel 4's commissioning editor for entertainment, Sharon Powers, said: "We want to build on the show's strengths and introduce new elements in a different setting. We're right behind the team and look forward to being back with a brand new look." Gallacher, Rogers and Bonnin follow fellow launch presenter Colin Murray out of the show. He left in October. Occasional Rise presenter Helen Chamberlain, who co-hosts Sky Sports 1's offbeat Saturday morning show Soccer AM, is reported to be in talks about making her role full-time. Rise is currently filmed in a BSkyB studio at Isleworth, west London, but will move to a location above the Whiteleys centre in Bayswater, central London, which a spokeswoman said would have a "panoramic view" of the capital. The show, which was launched as a replacement for the long-running Big Breakfast, has failed to attract large audiences. Rise recently appointed a new editor as part of the revamp. Justin Gorman, who used to work on talent shows Popstars and Model Behaviour, is the show's third editor since it launched in April. | See also: 21 Oct 02 | Entertainment 22 Nov 02 | Entertainment 03 May 02 | Entertainment 30 Apr 02 | Entertainment 29 Apr 02 | Entertainment Top Entertainment stories now: Links to more Entertainment stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
