Kylie denies Hindu marriage blessing
Kylie Minogue has denied she underwent a Hindu marriage-style ceremony in Bali with boyfriend James Gooding.

The singer spent a week away with model James Gooding, who Minogue spent two years dating before announcing a split in May.

The News of the World reported the couple held hands and made a pledge of eternal love on the Indonesian island.

The newspaper said the ceremony was presided over by Amir Rabik, the same Hindu holy man who once carried out a similar ceremony for Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall.

But a spokesman for Minogue denied reports they had revived their relationship by tying the knot in Bali.

He said: "They haven't got married and they haven't exchanged any vows in a Balinese ceremony."

Hectic schedules

Instead, the couple are said to be "enjoying each other's company" after Gooding flew out to be with her following the end of her Australian tour.

In May, Minogue and Gooding announced they had split up, blaming hectic schedules.

But the News of the World suggested that Minogue, 34, wanted children with Gooding, 10 years her junior, and was considering marrying the male model.

Jagger and Hall's Hindu wedding became a legal minefield during their divorce proceedings as it was claimed it was not binding.

In the past couple of years Minogue's career has taken off again, with the single Can't Get You Out Of My Head putting her back to the big time.

She is now as well-known for the reinventions of her image as she is for her music.
