Rod Stewart at Stormont: Your views
Rod Stewart
Rod Stewart appeared at the Glastonbury Festival
Rod Stewart's summer tour reached Belfast on Saturday when he performed at the city's Stormont.

The veteran rock singer has been on the road for much of the year and also played at the Glastonbury festival in June.

"The audience loved every song and where I was standing they were singing along particularly to Maggie May and Sailing," wrote the BBC's Ioan Bellin.

But what did you think?

Has Rod Stewart still got what it takes? Did he perform a good mix of old and new tracks?

Have your say

I honestly thought it would be a tired ageing rock star on the stage. I could not have been more wrong. He performed a magical mix of memories for us, and had us dancing about like the teenagers we were when he first came into our lives. Bless him.
Nick Pearce, Norn Iron

Fantastic concert by a marvellous entertainer. Seen him six times now and that was the best. Didn't think much of the organisation mind you, it felt as if those standing were trying to gatecrash into a party for those fortunate enough to be sitting. It's as well for the big screen otherwise we've have seen nothing. For 70 (two tickets) the entertainment could not be faulted but viewing and sound levels were poor.
Steven Law, NI
