Greece 'can tackle debt woes'

The "omens are good" that Greece will be able to reduce its fiscal deficit over the next three years, according to former Greek Finance Minister George Alogoskoufis.

Speaking to the BBC's Mike Sergeant, Mr Alogoskoufis admitted that Greece had been hit hard by the global economic downturn, but insisted that many countries had suffered the same fate.
