Greece 'sinking under its debts'

The Greek prime minister said his country is danger of "sinking under its debts" as he unveiled a series of harsh spending cuts.

George Papandreou and his Socialist party were elected two months ago, promising to get to grips with the country's economic crisis, but its total debt now measures 300bn euros.
