BA merger 'good for passengers'

The merger between British Airways and Iberia will be "good news for passengers and staff" according to BA's Chief Executive, Willie Walsh.

The link-up would create the third largest airline in the world. However, the deal is dependent on BA managing to plug the massive hole in its pension fund.
