Kroenke buys more Arsenal shares

Mr Kroenke also owns a number of US sports clubs

Arsenal director Stan Kroenke has increased his share in the London football club to 28.9%.

Mr Kroenke, the club's largest shareholder, has bought a further 90 shares, at £8,500 per share.

It takes Mr Kroenke ever closer to the 29.9% threshold that would force him to make an offer for the remaining shares.

The American tycoon, who also owns the NBA's Denver Nuggets, has been gradually increasing his stake in the football club this year.
