Japan factory struggles in recession

A collapse in demand for goods caused much suffering in Japan as the recession took hold.

Usually enjoying a jobs-for-life culture, some factories have been forced to lay-off staff in order to survive the crisis.

Roland Buerk has been to one factory to find out what changes it has had to make.
