N Ireland 'moving downward'

Many jobs in Northern Ireland are in the public sector, which insulates its economy from the worst of the recession.

But unemployment is up by a third on this time last year, and it is rising slightly faster than elsewhere in the UK.

Meanwhile, more than 200 former employees of car parts maker Visteon have been staging a sit-in at the west Belfast factory since being made redundant with only an hour's notice three weeks ago.
