Bangkok curfew 'to secure areas'

The operation to secure a perimeter around a Bangkok protest camp is complete and a curfew will allow Thai forces to secure more areas, a government spokesman has said.

Panitan Wattanayagorn was speaking after the army stormed the barricaded camp occupied by anti-government protesters, after days of clashes in Bangkok.
