Iran nuclear issue 'a shared goal' for UK and China

British Foreign Secretary David Miliband has spoken about the concern shared by China, of Iran's nuclear programme.

Mr Miliband spoke at a joint press conference on the second day of his visit to China after a meeting with foreign minister, Yang Jiechi.

He acknowledged that both countries have concerns about Iran and stressed their unwillingness to cooperate with the international community.

China wants to see a peaceful solution to the problems and is against using sanctions against Iran.
