Clinton calls for Suu Kyi release

The US secretary of state has demanded her immediate release of Burma's pro-democracy opposition leader, Aung San Suu Kyi.

Hillary Clinton said she was "deeply troubled" by the "baseless" charges brought against her.

Ms Suu Kyi faces trial on Monday for breaching the terms of her house arrest after an apparently uninvited visit by a US man.
