Burma struggles back from cyclone

The United Nations and leading aid agencies are warning that hundreds of thousands of people in Burma's Irrawaddy Delta are still in need of increased assistance, one year after a cyclone that killed around 140,000.

The UN, together with Burma's neighbours, launched a $700m appeal for reconstruction in February, but they have so far received pledges of only $100m.

Burma's military rulers initially barred international organisations from working in the affected area, but the UN says it is now allowed to bring in all the staff it needs.

The BBC and other foreign broadcasters are banned from reporting inside Burma so the majority of footage in this report was filmed by Save The Children.
